One of the goals of our campaign for the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors was to inform the residents of West Contra Costa County about the workings of our local government. We accomplished this goal. However, as an extremely low voter turnout (23 percent in our race) suggests, there are tens of thousands of people we have yet to reach. Therefore, I have decided to transform our campaign website into this weekly blog covering local government and politics here in West County. The name of the new blog is Phillips Posts.
